Neighbourhood Policing Team Activity - Halifax

Your local Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team has been out conducting daily foot patrols in the town centre as part of our ongoing commitment to tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.

During proactive patrols, officers conducted a stop search of a male which resulted in his arrest on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply controlled drugs. In a separate incident, another male was stop searched and subsequently dealt with by way of a Community Resolution after being found in possession of cannabis.

These positive outcomes demonstrate the value of high-visibility neighbourhood policing and our continued focus on disrupting drug-related activity within our communities. We remain committed to making Halifax a safer place to live, work and visit by targeting those involved in criminality and addressing anti-social behaviour concerns raised by local residents.
