Theft of a Motor Vehicle - Top Lane

Dear Resident

Residents are being made aware of a suspected vehicle theft in the Top Lane BD15 on Monday 13th April between 1300hrs and 1400hrs.

During this period, the vehicle owner returned home to find their vehicle missing from the street. As the vehicle was not insured or taxed, the owner first contacted the police to check whether it had been removed by the police or local council.

Checks confirmed that the vehicle had not been recovered or removed by authorities, and there was no notification from the DVLA. The vehicle is therefore believed to have been stolen.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the incident, please contact the police on 101 or speak to your local PCSO.

If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check any footage from the relevant time period for suspicious activity.

Consider parking in well‑lit or overlooked areas

Report suspicious activity as soon as possible
