We are making you aware of a burglary that took place in your area on Sunday 12th April at around 6:00pm. The burglary happened at a terraced house. The property was entered through an unlocked rear door. The offender(s) took keys that were left in the inside of the front door lock and then left the property through the rear door. What you can do:If you have CCTV or a video doorbell, please check any footage between Sunday 12th April 1700hrs-1900hrs and report anything suspicious. If your home has a uPVC or composite door, please check the lock to make sure it is secure and in good working order. Locks with a 3‑star rating (marked with three stars on the front) and rated TS007 or SS312 are recommended, as they offer better protection against snapping. We do not wish to cause alarm, but we encourage residents to review their home security and stay vigilant. If you see or know anything that may help, please contact the police on 101.
