As part of our ongoing commitment to address retail and business crime in Wetherby, last week officers from Leeds North East NPT proactively deployed across the Town Centre. 

As a result of the deployments a total of 9 people were stopped and searched, and two individuals were arrested for a range of offences. 

We continue to conduct high visibility, and plain clothes operations to disrupt criminality and anti-social behaviour, along with providing reassurance to business premises.

In addition, our crime prevention team have held two crime prevention engagement stalls, providing information, advice and support in the local community.
