Dogs die in hot cars

It's getting warm out there today and there's more warm weather predicted for over the weekend.

Remember, dogs die in hot cars.

Temperatures of just 20 degrees celsius outside, can cause a car to reach over 45 degrees in as little as an hour. Even for short stops, don't leave your dog in the car.

If you see a dog in distress in a hot car, dial 999 immediately.

Find out more about the symptoms of heatstroke in dogs on the RSPCA website: https://www.rspca.org.uk/advi.../pets/dogs/health/heatstroke
