Good morning,
There has again been a spate of centre console thefts within your area. We are working on this force wide as this crime is not only effecting our district, but all of West Yorkshire.
We're urging anyone that sees any form of suspicious behaviour to please report this to help in our investigations.
Suspicious behaviours can include the changing of registration plates, suspects wearing gloves and balaclavas out in public, unknown car to the area making loops around to scout out potential target cars and if you hear a car alarm, please check why the alarm was triggered and report this as soon as possible if a crime has occurred.
Quick reporting means a quicker response time from local units to help catch and prevent this from happening to others.
