Following community intelligence received regarding suspected drugs supply on and around Eagle Golf, Harehills Lane junction back St Albans Place, Leeds an action was set to address the information and concerns raised. Officers from Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) conducted proactive patrols across the identified locations, between the 22nd and 25th March 2025. The proactive deployments resulted in two individuals being dealt with for possession of a Class B drug namely Cannabis, and an adult male was arrested for Possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. An investigation remains ongoing currently and we would like to highlight the importance of community intelligence, which is invaluable to Neighbourhood Policing and helping us to identify and disrupt offenders, as evidenced in the results achieved. We hope the action taken and results achieved, provides some reassurance that we will take action in relation to information provided to us by the communities we serve, in order to tackle and address serious and organised criminality whilst keeping communities safe and feeling safe.
