Good afternoon

We want to make residents of Sandal aware of a male, captured on CCTV, trying car door handles on Manygates Lane in the early hours of Sunday 16 March and Tuesday 18 March. 

The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 8-5ft 10, Blue jacket, dark jeans, yellow shoulder bag, navy baseball cap worn back to front and a scarf over his nose and mouth.

Please remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

Always lock your car, even when parked on your driveway.

Never leave items like wallets, bags or electronics visible inside your car.

Motion activated lights can help deter criminals.

Report any suspicious activity to the police and inform your neighbours.
