Knife and drug sweeps were conducted in the ALMONDBURY area of Huddersfield by the neighbourhood policing team on Friday 31st January. The officers attended houses in the area and spoke to residents asking if they had seen anything suspicious or had any concerns with any specific areas, that they would like officers to search.

This was conducted to try to locate any discarded or stored items in the area that may be used in violent crimes and in attempts to help reduce crime in the area.
