On Friday 3rd January, officers from Normanton & Featherstone NPT attended Tuscany Way in Normanton following multiple reports from local businesses and members of the community regarding a potential car meet.

Despite clear signage highlighting the area's restrictions under the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), several vehicles were present. As a result, each vehicle received a £100 fine for breaching the order.

West Yorkshire Police, in collaboration with Wakefield Council, remains committed to addressing such issues and will continue to monitor this area closely.
