Dear Resident,

At 8.45am on 18/11/2024, the victim briefly left their Vauxhall Corsa unattended on Highfield Lane with the engine running to help defrost the car. Upon their return to the vehicle, the victim noticed that the engine was no longer running and the keys had been stolen.  

Whilst the victim was lucky that the car was not stolen, they will now have to have the locks / ignition replaced. Please do not leave your vehicle running and unattended no matter how briefly. It only takes seconds for an opportunist to make off with your vehicle.
