The recent free family fun day held on Tuesday 29th October 2024, at the Compton Centre in Harehills, Leeds was a resounding success. The event arranged as part of CommUnity Harehills – Clear, Hold and Build Project provided a unique opportunity for the public to engage with a range of agencies and third sectors, obtaining information and advice, whilst engaging in family friendly activities and learning of local provisions, activities, and support available in the Harehills Community and beyond. The day was filled with a variety of activities and information stalls that captivated attendees of all ages and provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to meet and interact, with all exhibiting at the event. The turnout was impressive, and it was wonderful to see so many families engaging with police, partners, local businesses and third sectors in attendance including Selective Licensing, Youth Services, Litter Free Leeds, Job Shop, Capable Guardians, Crimestoppers, Training providers, Healthcare Support, Financial Support, Morrisons and much more.
