A property on Kestrel Drive, Sandal was targeted by thieves in the early hours of Wednesday 14 November.

A blowtorch had been used around the handle on the rear door in order to try and gain entry into the house. Luckily the suspects were unsuccessful and made off.

It is thought that the suspects were targeting the vehicle on the drive and hoping to gain access to the property in order to steal the car keys.

Think about installing an immobiliser on your vehicle where a unique PIN or code sequence is inputted before it will start. Consider a visible deterrent such as a steering wheel lock to keep your vehicles safe and secure.
