We want to remind everyone about the traffic restrictions in place at the beginning and end of the school day.

As part of the local authority’s School Streets initiative, these measures are designed to improve road safety by closing roads to traffic, allowing only permit holders to pass during school drop-off and pick-up times.

All local schools have informed parents and guardians about these restrictions. While our officers have been issuing warnings, we’ve noticed continued non-compliance. Therefore, we will be entering an enforcement phase. Please be aware that anyone driving in the restricted area during the designated times (as indicated on the sign below) will be fined.
