Road safety is something that we are asked to prioritise by residents and therefore we would like to share some of the actions we've taken to keep the roads of North West Leeds safe in the past three weeks:

- 2x Vehicles seized due to the drivers having revoked licences

- 1x Vehicle seized under S59 powers for driving antisocially

- 2x S59 warnings issued to drivers seen driving antisocially

- 19x Tickets issued for obstruction

- 2x Tickets given for not wearing a seatbelt

- 1x Ticket given for using a handheld device whilst driving

- 1x Ticket given for having an expired MOT

- 1x Ticket for contravention of a 'No Right Turn'

- 5 Speeding tickets, with a further two given court summons due to the amount they were exceeding the limit by.

Enforcement can be a divisive topic, however, every single one of the above offences could have been avoided had the driver been more careful.
