NPT Teams Continue To Build Positive Relations With Young People

Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Teams are committed to engaging with young people across the communities we serve, to build positive relations and to educate young people about key subject matters such as keeping safe, people who help us, the dangers, risks and impacts of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Yesterday, PCSO’s from the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill ward attended the Inner East Youth Summit alongside Youth Services, Partner Agencies and Elected members. A fantastic event held for young people, giving them a voice in their communities. Well done to all involved and thank you for our invitation!

In addition, PCSO Crawford arranged an input at St Nicholas R.C Primary School, where a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) attended the school and set up a crime scene, for pupils to investigate. A fantastic event for pupils who learnt about investigating a crime scene for forensics, DNA – fingerprints and much more!

A special thanks to the CSI officer, for attending the school and all young people for their outstanding behaviour.
